Join primitive skills expert Clark Patton for a week of connecting with nature and being at peace in the woods. Clark will teach the kids about building shelter, creating fire with friction, cordage, flint knapping and they may even make bows and arrows. Students who are familiar with these skills will have an opportunity to learn more advanced techniques and skills. This is a camp your kids will never forget.

Survive campers will spend time in the woods, learn about primitive technology, and try out a few homesteading skills. This camp is designed to give students a range of experiences and will change focus each day. Students may spend up to 2 days learning to rock climb, but are not required to participate in rock climbing classes.
Register for July 16-20 (ages 5+)
Express is all about self expression. Students will spend their mornings creating with clay or working on independent projects in our makerspace. Our June campers will spend their afternoons writing and directing short films with original music. These films may showcase their storytelling ability, photography or stop motion and pixel art creativity. Campers can choose to upload their videos to Youtube or take them home on personal thumb drives. Our July campers will participate in “Mystery Box Theater” where they will develop and perform in plays using the contents of their mystery box. Campers will perform their plays on Friday, July 20th in the afternoon.
Our Innovate camps give students access to the latest technology and instructors who are experienced in this technology. These camps are hosted by our First Tech Challenge robotics teams and will include a robotics demonstration for all interested students. We will also spend time in our Makerspace, creating projects with our 3d printer and CNC mill. Students will be divided into groups based on interest. We do offer this camp for two weeks in the summer, so if they do not finish all of the projects they’d like to in the first week, they can join us for a second week!
Some projects that students might enjoy during this session: Make a video game, make a robot with arduino parts, make a stop motion movie, create an animation, make a robot with lego robotics, make a fidget spinner with our cnc mill, 3d print a toy, build a minigame in minecraft, learn how to create digital music with Garage Band and more!
Register for Aug 13-17 (ages 5+)
Connect campers will spend time in our local community and watershed. We will explore local nonprofits to learn more about how people help each other and help the local wildlife.
