Innovate focuses on technology. Many of our students shine when they are asked to perform tasks on computers and this camp allows them to expand these abilities. Other students are new to technology and benefit from an introduction to these topics. Students may develop video games, work on our Minecraft server, film stop motion, and short movies. They might choose to learn about basic robotics or electrical engineering.
Our Innovate camps give students access to the latest technology and instructors who are experienced in this technology. These camps are hosted by our First Tech Challenge robotics teams and will include a robotics demonstration for all interested students. We will also spend time in our Makerspace, creating projects with our 3d printer and CNC mill. Students will be divided into groups based on interest. We do offer this camp for two weeks in the summer, so if they do not finish all of the projects they’d like to in the first week, they can join us for a second week!
Some projects that students might enjoy during this session: Make a video game, make a robot with Arduino parts, make a stop motion movie, create an animation, make a robot with lego robotics, make a fidget spinner with our CNC mill, 3d print a toy, build a mini-game in Minecraft, learn how to create digital music with Garage Band and more!
You may choose to register for before and after care, or just the camp option. You can drop off and pick up your child at any time during the before and after care, but the price will stay the same.
Before and After Care:
Before and After is available for this camp, it is not included in your camp price and must be purchased separately. You can add before/after care to your cart using the links below.
Some camps will take the students off campus. If your child needs a booster seat, you must provide one.
Lunch and Snacks:
eNDVR does not provide food for your children. Please have your child bring a lunch and snack. We will provide water, but water bottles are always a great idea, especially for during field trips or playing outside.
The following MUST be on file at LWM Inc. prior to your student attending camp.
